14th Annual Community-Wide
Thanksgiving Service
Vital Information:
14th Annual
Community-Wide Thanksgiving Service
Sunday, November
20, 2005
6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Lubbock Municipal
Auditorium
(on the campus of
Texas Tech)
Purpose of this Service:
The Thanksgiving gathering, sponsored by Pray Lubbock, is
designed to be an opportunity were testimonies of God's
bountiful blessings over our city during the past year lead
us into corporate, community-wide praise and thanksgiving.
Testimony will
fuel praise. Recounting our blessings will give substance
to the sentiment of Thanksgiving. Testimony will lead us into enhanced worship as we are
increasingly convinced, "How Awesome is our God!"
We have pre-arranged noteworthy testimonies of God's
goodness which will be given by leaders of our community.
You will hear:
- David Gutierrez, Lubbock County Sheriff
- Thomas Head, Lubbock County Judge
- Sam Medina, 237th District Court Judge
- Gary Boren, City of Lubbock Council Member, District
3
- Greg Bruce, President, South Plains Chapter of the
American Red Cross
- Barry Stephens, pulpit minister, Monterey Church of
Chris
- Kevin McConic, Board Member of the
Lubbock Hope and Help Center

We will all be amazed at
what God has done this year!
Worship will be led by Jeff McCreight, and the worship team
from New Life Family Center. This team is
striving for excellence - worthy of our King's visit!
Our evening will be capped with a Thanksgiving Devotional
Message from Rev. Wilburn Tanner, pastor of Pilgrim Baptist
Church.
An offering will be received to cover expenses related to
this service and for the furtherance of prayer initiatives
in our city. Checks can be made payable to Pray
