Prayer Room Usage Guidelines

The conference room on the 19th floor is not exclusively available to Pray Lubbock.  It is actually available to all tenants of  the Metro Tower under the management of  Alliance Reality Services.  This room is also available for rent to outside groups.  There is no charge for prayer meetings arranged through the Pray Lubbock office as this is an extension of Pray Lubbock.

As tenants of the building, we want to remain in good status with the management who has given us nearly unlimited access to this room.  In return, we ask all guests to be respectful of this facility and the hospitality by following a few guidelines:

  • Confine your access in the building to the 19th and 1st floors - restrooms are on the 19th floor next to the elevators

  • Be mindful of noise levels during business hours

  • If you are here after business hours, when the main entrances are locked do not prop doors open for others to come in; have someone stationed at the door to let people in who are attending your meeting

  • Parking during business hours is limited to curbside parking; after business hours, the parking lot is available for use

  • Encourage younger guests to refrain from playing with or in the elevators

  • Don't sit on the window sills, stand on furniture or lean on windows in order to have a better view - if a window gives way, it's a long way down.

  • Candles are often a part of a prayer or worship gathering - take care to not get wax on the carpet and clean up window sills and tables of dripped wax

  • Restore or improve the room's condition when you are finished

  • When you are finished, if it is after hours, turn off lights and make sure the main entrance door locks behind you as you leave
