Need Increased Love for the Lost?

Honest evaluation is in order here.  If there were some type of internal thermostat, which could measure your passion to see the lost come to the Lord, what would the reading be in your life?  Many of us would have to admit that while we give intellectual ascent to the belief that everyone needs Jesus, that affirmation often doesn’t make its way into our personal passion, much less our congregations’ core motivational values.  Ed Silvoso observes, “Lack of love for the lost is the backbone of the religious spirit.”
